BEST Christmas EVER!

I have to Agree with my Aunt, about this being the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER. I was thinking this as I was driving off to run errands this morning after I received a text message from my lovely aunt reminding me to update my blog.

This being the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER was part due to all of the people that I really love and care about were there, minus my father, my brother Dennis, and my wonderful Walker "in-laws". Having them near for Christmas would have made the day even more special.

Christmas Eve I was blessed to be surrounded by my Aunt Jodie, Cousins Colt and Maggie, Michael, and my dear friend Abby and her daughter Phoenix.
There was plenty of food, games, and goodies to snack on!

Christmas Day was ever so splendid with Breakfast served by Jodie, and gift exchanges. The Smiths really went out of their way to ensure Michael and I had a fabulous Christmas and we were ever so grateful for their generosity. Oh, and God knows Michael "only stays around because my aunt buys him underwear and socks on occasion" (theory from the Grinch's themselves)...

Christmas Morning Colt and Maggie had gone to visit, so said Grinch's and deliever Christmas gifts of which they tried to refuse but nevertheless Colt and Maggie were forceful upon giving them their gifts. The joke all throughout the day, among others, was the fact that Colt has no street smarts, and the usual "Mike's a pathetic loser", and Sariann's an evil partier (or something to that notion). I have to admit, I admire Colt's Courage with confronting so said Grinch's but as usual the discussions were useless and long and tiring.

Becca LOVED all of her gifts and together her and I enjoyed dress-up, nail painting, putting on play makeup and participating in the Wii challenges. She amazed me with how good she was on that thing, and it makes me feel old not knowing how to play it as well as I probably should.

The traditional Turkey Turnovers turned out better than I had ever remembered them and unfortunately I could only eat one, I was so full. Jodie's dinners always turn out splendid and fabulous. I know that as long as Jodie is preparing, the meal will be simply delicious!

Santa had brought EVERYONE a fresh new pair of Christmas Jammies, Mike and I wore ours all day along with some to-boggins to keep our ears warm. THANK YOU SANTA!

Ciera joined us as well on Christmas and Christmas Eve and that was especially a treat. We love visiting with her!

Overall it was just probably the best Christmas I've ever had. I was surrounded by everyone I loved and cherished and the day was peaceful and full of Joy.
